Really digging the flat black… makes the car have a completely different feel.
I had some debris fall into the black paint on the hood, so I wet sanded it back down and re-sprayed. I also masked the rear window and sprayed the trim and the rest of the roof. Plus most of the passenger side too. I decided to paint the trunk medallion, but I may “unpaint” it later, depending on the rest of the car.
Also, just for fun I threw an old license plate on the car: NWY 207. The plate is so old it has the original “Keep it Beautiful” slogan for Ontario, instead of the more current “Yours to Discover”. The latest validation sticker is from April 1984. Soon, the reliant will have proper valid plates and will be rolling down the highway 🙂
